Six Whiting Street's Suffolk store is in a magnificent Grade II Listed Building that dates back to the 16th Century. It covers two floors and has several rooms, a very pleasant environment indeed. There's a great mix of brands and everyone there knows what they're talking about. Their website is very artistic and features their product range listed by brand name.
I believe Fashion My Way makes shopping for fashion and designer clothing online as easy and fun as it always should have been. Fashion has been the focus of my life for a good number of years now. I love the excitement of walking in to unfamiliar stores and seeing the beautiful clothing filling the rails and shelves. I like to take my time. When the atmosphere is right - when there's some pleasant ambience from other customers and some relaxing music playing - I like to walk around the store and really get a feel for the place. Once you understand how it's organised, where you can find the brands you love, where the fitting rooms are and who to talk to if you have any questions, you begin to think of this new store as somewhere you're already familiar and comfortable in. It's like being at a friend's house or in your favourite park. It's a wonderful place to be.
Unfortunately, there's just not enough time in our lives to visit as many stores as we'd like to. Getting around a large city giving each store the time it deserves can be hard at times, but getting around the entire country is just a pipe dream for most of us. That's where the wonder of the internet comes in. With the 'net, you have access to stores all across the country. You can visit a store in Glasgow then immediately visit another in Cardiff.
There are problems with shopping online though. Many stores try to replicate their in-store decor on to their web sites. This often means their sites are very nice to look at but can be hard to navigate. Some stores allow you to browse their stock by brand, others by the type of item and a few let you do both. Some are quite open about their P&P charges, others like to hide it away deep within the site so that you don't see it until checkout. On some sites you can sort through the products by price whereas others don't. I guess it all comes down to inconsistency. Some sites are easier to use than others, and they all have their own way of doing things.
It is these inconsistencies that I hope to fix with Fashion My Way. I've tried my hardest to collect products and offers from the best of the UK's fashion stores and put them together in a single site that is a joy to use. I have made it so that you can browse through the thousands of products available as quickly and easily as possible. If you have a favourite brand, you can find official stockists and view all of their offerings at once. If there's a store you love but theit site isn't what you hoped it would be, you can browse through all of their stock from here. If you're just after a bargain - check out the offers & sales page; as soon as I learn about any new sales or vouchers I update that section of the site. They are also shown on the store's profile page and on each product page so that you never miss out.
The number of brands and stores on offer is still quite small at the moment, but in time I will of course add more. It's still early days for Fashion My Way and there's still a lot of work to be done before it becomes the site I've dreamt about. In the meantime, I hope you find it useful and makes your online shopping a delightful experience. If there's anything you think isn't working as it should, or you have an idea for a new feature then please do get in touch. I'd love to hear what you think and any improvements I can make.
